Come to Sicily with me! Danena is a stylish 19th century masseria in the luscious natural landscape of South East Sicily. Surrounded by 80 acres of farm land and the Mediterranean sea, Danena is set amongst olive and almond groves just fifteen minutes from the wonderful baroque town of Noto, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the beautiful Nature Reserve of Vendicari, a wildlife haven boasting some of Sicily’s most beautiful and deserted golden-sand beaches. Also within reach are the stunning towns of Ragusa and Modica, and the beautiful island of Ortigia. The masseria has elegant rooms in the classic Sicilian style, a gorgeous fresh water infinity pool, lots of private outdoor spaces and a stunning sunset terrace. Yoga is twice daily either on the al fresco platform or in the beautiful yoga shala.

deep & soulful yoga
Feel amazing with twice a day yoga! Our morning sessions are 120 minutes of dynamic vinyasa flow (with options of course!) sequenced to energise, revitalise and invigorate. Then we switch gears for our 90 minute evening sessions with a much slower, stiller vibe, combining Yin Yoga (deep fascia release), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation) to soothe, nurture and nourish. Suitable for all levels except absolute beginners.

Noto is in the South East of Sicily and the nearest airport with non-stop flights from the UK is Catania. (Comiso airport is closer but there are no direct flights from the UK.) Catania to Noto is about 90km and this route is served by public transport (then taxi from Noto to Danena), or you can hire a car. Alternatively a transfer can be organised upon request. Earliest arrival time at Danena on 07.09 is 16:00 and latest departure on 14.09 is 10:00.
