old skool yoga

Old Skool Yoga is a more traditional Hatha yoga class in which the poses are practised statically rather than dynamically, helping you build resilience, endurance and interoception. It is less flow than Vinyasa, has minimal downward dogs, there are less breath linked movements and no transitions. This class is slow paced and poses are held for longer, often using props and the wall, so there’s more time to explore alignment, and also develop awareness of the breath whilst in the pose. Old Skool Yoga is the perfect compliment to my Vinyasa classes - take both classes and get the best of both worlds - but is also ideal for those who prefer no flow, and is a great graduation option for those who students have completed my Beginners Yoga Course. Classes explore Body, Breath, Mind and Spirit and include conscious breathing, relaxation and meditation - with a light sprinkling of yoga philosophy.
