The Ultimate Yoga Weekend

Bedfordshire  18 - 20 May 2018

Join Victoria for a weekend of soulful vinyasa, healing meditation and vibrant vegan food at this beautiful 17th century manor house (just one hour from London) set amongst five acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, with its own labyrinth, outdoor heated pool and tennis court. This really is the ultimate yoga weekend!

This 17th century manor house has been lovingly restored by the owners and includes character bedrooms, luxurious dining room, elegant drawing room and library. The old stables have been converted into contemporary cottages to provide extra bedrooms around a central courtyard.

Wander, Explore, Relax - The Grounds

Five acres of beautiful landscaped gardens provide a wonderful backdrop of serenity and space with secret places, rose arbours, ageless statues and ancient trees with swings. The labyrinth at the manor copies the design of the ancient pattern of the labyrinth in Chartres Cathedral in France, but with a unique twist. It incorporates all the elements in its design: earth, air, fire and water. Research has shown that walking a labyrinth creates balance in the body and brings peace to the mind. The water that runs through the labyrinth pathway can be drunk – it is delicious, pure and vital.

REST - The Rooms

The interior of the Manor House has been sympathetically and exquisitely restored. Featuring interesting architecture, beautiful antiques, paintings and harmonious interior décor – this is a wonderful place to relax, enjoy and absorb the peaceful atmosphere.

The old Stables Courtyard has been carefully restored and converted into beautifully designed contemporary cottages surrounding a central courtyard.

Victoria is really excited to have connected with a chef who’s passion for nutrition, creative expression & love for life results in refreshing, vibrant vegan food. This is dairy free fine dining!

PRACTICE  - The Yoga

Morning sessions will be deep and soulful vinyasa - creative, flowing sequences followed by relaxation - designed to energise and refresh. Evening sessions will be a delicious blend of gentle movement, pranayama (breathing), dhyana (meditation) and/or yoga nidra (yogic sleep) designed for healing and renewal. All levels of student welcome.

The venue is centrally located approximately 60 miles north of London, and is easily accessible by car or train. It is situated in the village of Sharnbrook, between Cambridge and Northampton. Trains run regularly from St Pancras Station in London to Bedford. If travelling by car, the venue is twenty minutes off the M1, just south of Northampton.
