Meditation Mornings in Ealing

Awaken the inner observer. This once a month Saturday morning meditation workshop will introduce you to a range of simple meditation techniques, from following the breath to the use of mantra. The practice will include a short asana/physical practice followed by a 15-25 minute seated meditation, depending on technique. Each session will be enlivened with a sprinkling of philosophy from the classic yoga texts. Options and modifications will be offered for seated postures for meditation so this practice is available to everyone – no yoga or meditation experience required. Meditation is the heart of any yoga practice.

These sessions are taught by Alvira Khan-Gordon. Alvira is an RYT 200 teacher who has been practising yoga for 18 years with a special interest in meditation. Victoria and Alvira have been good friends for nearly 30 years; they first met whilst reading English Literature at University of London. They share a love of yoga and literature.
