Victoria has been practising yoga for over 20 years and teaching it for 12. Highly qualified and experienced in alignment, breathing, relaxation and meditation, Victoria’s own practice and teaching is an exploration of the connection between body, breath, mind and soul. 

Throughout her yoga journey Victoria has practised with many teachers who have informed and influenced both her own practice and her teaching. She loves the uplifting, dance-like yet meditative qualities of vinyasa yoga which she teaches in her Ealing yoga classes and Beginners courses in Pitshanger, West Ealing and Northfields. And she adores the nurturing and healing effects of restorative yoga, a much stiller, gentler practice, which she teaches in her Restorative Yoga Course in West Ealing. She combines these two very different types of yoga, vinyasa and restorative,  in her unique and ever popular Energise & Restore Workshops.  Victoria’s style, whilst light hearted and light handed, is an invitation to her students to deepen their connection to themselves on every level of their being. Using the breath as the foundation, her combination of posture work, relaxation and meditation helps students lead calmer, happier and more purposeful lives.

Victoria’s numerous yoga qualifications are all approved by the most respected and widely recognised governing bodies. Her initial training (BWY Dip 500 hours),  which took two and a half years to complete with the British Wheel of Yoga, is considered to be one of the most extensive and thorough trainings available.  Victoria is also an Anusara Elements teacher (RYT 200 hours), a Yoga Alliance qualification which she gained under internationally renowned teacher Bridget Woods Kramer. Committed to her own practice and to Continuing Professional Development, Victoria continues to attend regular teacher trainings, immersions, intensives and workshops with leaders in their chosen field. In 2016 she completed an eight month advanced training in Pranayama (breathing) and throughout 2017 is in training in yoga nidra with the UK's and USA's leading teachers.  She has trained with world famous teachers Max Strom (author of 'A Life worth Breathing'), Rod Stryker (author of 'The Four Desires') and Anodea Judith, world leader on chakras and author of 'Eastern Body Wester Mind'.  Victoria’s main teacher and mentor is Graham Burns, who holds a Master of Arts in Religions from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and lectures on the SOAS postgraduate degree on Traditions of Yoga. Graham is currently researching The Upanishads for his PhD.  Victoria is grateful to all the teachers, students and friends she has connected with along her path.

Victoria's other passions include food and cooking. She has a lifelong interest in drama (plays, theatre and radio) and contemporary dance. She holds a BA (Hons) Degree in English Literature and a Drama Foundation Diploma. Victoria is also a volunteer newsreader for the charity Ealing Talking Newspapers and each year donates all proceeds from her yoga Summer School to charity.
